KSP Has New Spokesperson

(Frankfort, Ky.) -- On August 16, 2012 Sgt. Rick Saint-Blancard was transferred from the Recruiting Branch to the Public Affairs Branch as commander. Saint-Blancard will assume the role as agency spokesperson for Kentucky State Police (KSP).

"I look forward to working with media agencies in an effort to better inform the public about pertinent information they need," says Saint Blancard. "This is a great opportunity to educate and inform the public about KSP and develop an open line of communication across the Commonwealth."

Saint-Blancard is a seven year veteran of KSP and his assignments included the Dry Ridge Post and the Recruitment Branch. Prior to KSP, he worked in the private sector. He resides in Boone County with his wife Carol.
