Cold Case on Donald Ray Baird

State Police Request Help Resolving the Murder of Donald Ray Baird

Victim: Donald Ray Baird, White Male, 25 years of age.

Location: #4 Townhouse Apartments, Morganfield, Union County, Kentucky.

On July 24, 1981, the victim was found by his brother shot to death in his apartment in Morganfield, Kentucky. The murder weapon, a .38 caliber revolver, was found laying beside the victim. (It was later determined the weapon was owned by the victim.) Death was caused by three (3) rounds — two (2) in the chest and one (1) in the head.

Detectives are requesting help from the community or anyone who might have information on the Murder of Donald Ray Baird. Anyone with information can contact the case officers Sgt.
