KSP Post 7 Commander

Kentucky State Police Post 7 located in Richmond is under the command of Captain Edward L. Johnson. Captain Johnson received his KSP commission in June of 1983 and was appointed Post 7 commander in February of 2008.

From Nicholasville, Kentucky -

Get on to US-27 N, travel 6.74 miles.  Take the KY-4 E ramp, take KY-4 for approximately 4 miles.

Take the US-25/US-421 exit- number 15- towards LEXINGTON / RICHMOND.

Merge onto US-25 S.

US-25 S becomes KY-418 S.

Take the I-75 S ramp.

Merge onto I-75 S.  Travel approximately 16.27 miles.

Take the KY-876 exit- exit number 87- towards LANCASTER / RICHMOND.

Turn LEFT onto KY-876, Kentucky State Police Post 7 is approximately 1 mile on the left.

From Lexington, Kentucky -

Get on I-75 S ramp.

Merge onto I-75 S.  Travel approximately 16.27 miles.

Take the KY-876 exit- exit number 87- towards LANCASTER / RICHMOND.

Turn LEFT onto KY-876, Kentucky State Police Post 7 is approximately 1 mile on the left.

From Danville, Kentucky -

Start out going East on US-150/W MAIN ST/KY-34 towards US-150/E MAIN ST/KY-34 by turning right.

US-150/W MAIN ST/KY-34 becomes US-150.

Turn LEFT onto KY-52 E. Pass through 1 roundabout.  Travel approximately 32.56 miles on KY-52.

Turn RIGHT onto KY-876 E.  Kentucky State Police Post 7 is approximately 1 mile on the right.
