News Release

Arson / Theft Investigation in Olive Hill, KY

Date of News Release: 02/22/2012

(Ashland, Ky.) -- The Kentucky State Police in Ashland is investigating a theft of equipment and arson of a barn owned by Charlie Rice located on Carter Caves Road in Olive Hill, KY. The theft and arson occurred on February 4, 2012 near the junction of Oakland Ridge. Missing items include a 2007 red and white bobcat and a 2011 John Deere 10' bush hog. These items were believed to have been stolen within close proximity of the fire.

Anyone who may have observed these pieces of equipment around this time frame are asked to contact the Kentucky State Police at 606-928-6421. Callers may remain anonymous.

Detective Ben Cramer is the investigating officer.
