Theft of Controlled Substance Investigation and Arrest

Date of News Release: 05/01/2006

(FRANKFORT, Ky.) - On April 30, 2005, Detectives from KSP DE/SI West and KSP Drug Task Force along with the Kroger Loss Prevention Personnel concluded an investigation regarding the theft of over 1000 hydrocodone tablets by a Kroger employee.

On April 30, 2006, units obtained consent to search the residence of Bradley Gulley at 1303 Pow Haten Trail in Frankfort, Kentucky. Seized from the scene were 84 dose units of Alprazolan, 74 dose units of gabapentin, 468 dose units of hydrocodone, 56 dose unitsof Carisprodol, 49 dose units of diazepam, and 10cc of Tussinex. Gulley was arrested and charged with nine counts of Theft of a Controlled Substance and nine counts of Unlawful Access to a Computer, 1st Degree and lodged in the Franklin County Regional Jail.
