Two Escape from Logan County Detention Center
(Russellville, KY) - On Sunday, January 26 two inmates escaped from the Logan County Detention Center. The inmates escaped the facility by kicking open their cell door and fleeing out of a fire escape door.
The first is Jason Wade Gaston of Russellville, KY. He is a 20 year old White Male with short blonde hair and blue eyes. He is 5ft 8in tall and weighs 185 lbs. He has a short buzz cut and a mustache. Gaston has five tattoos on his arms and back, however there are no descriptions available about the tattoos. He was being held on arson and criminal mischief charges.
The other escapee is David Anthony Harrison of Auburn, KY. He is a 22 year old White Male with brown hair and brown eyes. He is 6ft 1 in. tall and weighs 200 lbs. He has a tattoo on his right arm, however, the description is unknown. Harrison was being held on a murder charge.
The suspects were last known to be wearing orange pants and orange or white t-shirts, and were last seen running up 2nd Avenue on foot in the City Limits of Russellville.
Harrison & Gaston may possibly be in a 1995 model Black 4 door Pontiac Grand Prix with tinted windows bearing Kentucky Registration Plate 925BVR.
These suspects may also be with a female who is wanted for aiding in their escape. The female is Rose M. Rogers of Russellville, KY. She is a 33 year old white female with brown hair and brown eyes. She is 5ft 4in. tall and weighs 124 lbs.
These suspects are supposedly en route to an unknown location in Florida. Several agencies including Hopkinsville PD Aerial Support Unit searched the area and checked several residences attempting to locate the suspects.
