Taylorsville, Ky. (February 22, 2018) – On Thursday, February 22, 2018 a Spencer County Grand Jury indicted Heather M. Mets, age 31, of Taylorsville in the death of Joshua Moore, age 33, of Mount Washington.

Heather Mets has been charged with Murder and Possession of Marijuana. Heather has been arrested and lodged in the Shelby County Detention Center.

This investigation is ongoing by the Kentucky State Police Post 12 Detectives.

Taylorsville, Ky. (December 7, 2017) – On Thursday December 7, around 12:30am Kentucky State Police responded to a call of a shooting at 400 Essex Way in Spencer County.

Upon arrival Kentucky State Police responding Troopers found Joshua Moore age 33, of Mount Washington suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. EMS arrived and transported Moore from the scene. Moore succumb to his injuries before his arrival at the hospital. It was determined that Moore was shot by someone at the residence on Essex Way.

The investigation is ongoing by the Kentucky State Police Detectives. No charges have been placed at this time.
