Charles Hall was lodged in the Letcher County Jail.
JACKHORN, Ky. (Dec. 3, 2018) — On November 30, 2018, at approximately 3:30 p.m., the Kentucky State Police Electronic Crime Branch arrested Charles E. Hall, 45, on charges related child sexual exploitation.
Hall was arrested as the result of an Internet Crimes Against Children Investigation. The KSP Electronic Crime Branch began the investigation after discovering the suspect using social media to engage in sexual conduct and communication with a minor.
The investigation resulted in the execution of an arrest warrant at a residence in Jackhorn on November 30, 2018. Equipment used to facilitate the crime was seized and taken to KSP’s forensic laboratory for examination. The investigation is ongoing.
Hall is currently charged with one count of Prohibited Use of Electronic Communications System to Procure a Minor for Sex Offenses, one count of Rape 3rd Degree, one count of Sodomy 3rd Degree, and one count of Sexual Abuse 1st Degree. Each charge is a Class-D felony, punishable by 1 to 5 years in prison.
