Nortonville, KY (Hopkins County) – On February 22, 2018 at approximately 6:58 P.M., Trooper Cody Kromer initiated a traffic stop on a 1997 Saturn passenger vehicle.
The vehicle was traveling on I-69, approximately one mile north of Nortonville, with no tail lamps and swerving on the roadway.
Trooper Kromer made contact with the operator who was identified as Jennifer Bradham, 30, of Sikeston, Missouri. Trooper Kromer detected the odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle, and ran Ms. Bradham through field sobriety.
The Hopkins County Sheriff’s Department K-9 indicated on the vehicle, and a search of the vehicle resulted in the discovery of suspected methamphetamine and several items of drug paraphernalia.
Jennifer Bradham was arrested and lodged in the Hopkins County Detention Center, where she was charged with the following:
1.) No Tail Lamps
2.) Careless Driving
3.) License to be in Possession
4.) DUI 1st, Aggravated
5.) Possession of Controlled Substance 1st Degree, 2nd Offense (Methamphetamine)
6.) Drug Paraphernalia- Buy/Possess
