HARTFORD, KY. (Jan. 29, 2018)—Kentucky State Police Detectives have charged an Ohio County man with various felonies. Adam Steward, 30 of Hartford was charged yesterday evening with six counts of Rape 2nd degree; six counts of Wanton Endangerment 1st degree; six counts of Sexual Abuse 1st degree; 12 counts of Unlawful Transaction with a Minor-Illegal Sex Act, Under 16 Years Old and one count of Persistent Felony Offender.

The investigation was initiated in December 2017 when troopers were notified that Steward had inappropriate sexual relations with a female juvenile in the summer of 2017.

On January 25, 2018, the Ohio County Grand Jury issued the above charges. Steward is currently lodged in the Ohio County Detention Center in Hartford, KY.
