MASONVILLE, KY (February 24, 2018)–Kentucky State Police responded to a report of an accident with injuries in the 9100 block of US 231.
Troopers determined that a 17 year old juvenile was operating her 2005 Nissan Altima southbound on 231 when she fell asleep. The juvenile then left the west side of the roadway coming to final rest in a ditch along the roadway.
Masonville Fire Department and Yellow Ambulance removed the juvenile from the vehicle and transported her to Owensboro Health Hospital for treatment of her injuries. US 231 was restricted to one lane of travel for approximately 45 minutes while emergency workers cleaned up the collision site.
