Mayfield, Ky. (March 4, 2022) – The vehicle has been located and a suspect has been identified. The investigation is ongoing by Trooper Ramage.

Mayfield, Ky. (March 3, 2022) – On March 2, 2022 shortly before 12:00 noon CST, Kentucky State Police (KSP), Post 1 was notified by an employee of Creative Interiors in Mayfield, KY that the gas line on the business A/C unit had been damaged by a vehicle during the overnight hours the night before. The business provided video surveillance of a black SUV with a blue tarp covering the back window. The vehicle was on the property the night of March 1, 2022 and was seen on surveillance camera running over the gas line on the A/C unit. The operator was seen exiting the vehicle and tampering with the damaged unit before leaving the scene.

Anyone with information regarding the location of the vehicle pictured below or the identity of the owner of the pictured vehicle is asked to contact Kentucky State Police, Post 1 at 270-856-3721 or anonymously at 1-800-222-5555.  Citizens may also report tips anonymously through the KSP app.  The app is available for iPhone, iPad and Android applications and can be easily downloaded free of charge through Apple and Google Play stores.
