London, Ky. (October 23, 2021) – The Kentucky State Police, London Post partnered with the London City Police, Laurel County Health Department and the DEA for the National Prescription Drug Take-Back Day.

We would like to thank all the Citizens for bringing in their currant or outdated or unwanted medication.

Today’s event was a very big success 63.5 lbs of medication was turned in. Do to this initiative thousands of pounds of prescription drugs are removed from communities across Kentucky which prevents the diversion of these medications onto the illicit the market.

The next Drug Take Back Event will be in the end of April.
