EDDYVILLE, Ky. (Jan. 31, 2023) – All lanes of travel have been reopened on I-24. Road conditions remain slick and hazardous.

EDDYVILLE, Ky. (Jan. 31, 2023) – Troopers with Kentucky State Police (KSP), Post 1 are currently on scene of multiple collisions in the area of mile marker 34 eastbound on I-24 in Lyon County. There are no serious injuries reported at this time. I-24 eastbound traffic is being diverted off the interstate at exit 27.

All roadways within the Post 1 district remain slick and hazardous. KSP continues to urge everyone to avoid travel if possible. If travel is necessary, please use goky.ky.gov to check traffic updates before you get on the road. It is essential to reduce speeds and increase following distance in the current conditions.
