Hitchins, Kentucky – (December 24, 2018) The Kentucky State Police, Ashland Post was called just after 12:28 PM on Monday, December 24, 2018, following a shooting which occurred inside a residence on Winding Way, in the Hitchins community of Carter County. Troopers responded and made entry into the house to find two people, one male and one female, with single gunshot wounds to the head.
The preliminary investigation indicated that Billy Suttles, age 54, of Grayson, was involved in a domestic violence incident with his live-in girlfriend, Rebecca Lancaster, 49, also of Grayson, when he retrieved a .25 caliber handgun and shot her one time in the head.
