Drugs Were Found on Her During Jail Booking
OWENSBORO, Ky. (April 08, 2018)—A Kentucky State Police trooper conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle at 3:15pm on Todd Bridge Road at Waymond Morris Park. The operator, identified as Heather D. Lindsey, 31 of Owensboro was stopped for not utilizing her seatbelt. Through the investigation, the trooper discovered Lindsey had a suspended driver’s license. After the arrest, she was transported to Daviess County Detention Center in Owensboro.
While KSP and jail staff were processing Lindsey, it was discovered she had a hidden glass methamphetamine pipe on her person.
Lindsey was charged with:
1) Operating on a Suspended License
2) Failure to Wear Seatbelt
3) Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
4) Possession of a Controlled Substance, 1st
5) Promoting Contraband
