Sebree, Ky. (Webster County) – On March 25, 2021, around 8:09 PM, the Kentucky State Police Post 2, Madisonville, was requested by the Webster County Sheriff’s Department to investigate a fatal collision on Interstate 69.
Preliminary investigation revealed 19-year-old Jacob Guest, of Evansville, IN, was operating a 2011 Honda Civic Northbound on I-69 during heavy rainfall. Near mile marker 134 Mr. Guest lost control of the vehicle and traveled off the shoulder of the roadway. The vehicle overturned multiple times before coming to final rest on all four tires. Jacob Guest and a juvenile passenger were transported by ambulance to the Methodist Hospital in Henderson, KY where they were treated for their injuries.
Another juvenile passenger, Jasmine Guest, 14, of Evansville, IN, succumbed to her injuries and was pronounced deceased at the scene by the Webster County Coroner. The investigation is ongoing by Trooper Jacob Stephens.
