Allensville, Ky. (Todd County) – On June 5, 2022, at approximately 2:26 p.m., Kentucky State Police Post 2 was contacted by the Todd County Sheriff’s Office in reference to a fatal collision involving a pedestrian on US 79.

Preliminary investigation revealed that a Peterbilt semi truck, operated by Alexander Fritton, was traveling North on US 79. Justin Lambert entered the road on foot carrying a metal chair. Fritton observed Lambert in the road and had slowed to nearly a stop. Lambert struck the side of the semi truck several times with the chair before being caught by the drive wheels and pulled under the vehicle.

Justin Lambert, age 33, from Bowling Green, KY was pronounced dead at the scene by the Todd County Coroner.
