Bowling Green, Ky. (June 1st, 2023) – On April 25th, 2023 Kentucky State Police Post 3 was requested by the Warren County Jailer Stephen Harmon to investigate a complaint of inappropriate sexual conduct involving a former employee of the Warren County Regional Jail. The incident was reported to have occurred in September of 2021 and the individual accused left the employment of the jail after 3 months of service.
On Wednesday May 24th, 2023 the investigation was presented to the Warren County Grand Jury where an indictment warrant was issued for Aaron Bommarito, 28, of Franklin. Bommarito was arrested on May 26th, 2023 and charged with one count of Sodomy Third Degree and one count of Official Misconduct First Degree. On June 1st, 2023 an indictment containing three additional charges of Sodomy was returned by the Warren County Grand Jury.
The investigation is being led by Kentucky State Police Post 3 detectives. They were assisted by the Warren County Jailer and staff.
