Bowling Green, KY (June 4, 2018)- The Kentucky State Police Post 3, Bowling Green received a call of a two vehicle injury collision involving a commercial vehicle,
at 1:09 PM this afternoon. The collision had occurred near the Warren/Logan county line at the intersection of Russellville Road and Petros Road in Warren County. Post 3 Troopers and Commercial Vehicle Officers responded to the scene.
The preliminary investigation indicated that Lillie M. Remour (77) of Auburn, KY was operating a 2001 Honda passenger car while traveling eastbound on Russellville Road. Howard Bradley (62) of Browder, KY was operating a 2016 Volvo semi-truck / tractor-trailer and was turning right from Petros Road, eastbound onto Russellville Road. Remour’s vehicle struck the semi-truck in a rear end manner.
Lillie M. Remour succumbed to injuries and was pronounced deceased on scene by the Warren County Coroner.
The investigation is still ongoing and being conducted by Lieutenant Jeremy Smith. He was assisted on the scene by Medical Center EMS, Commercial Vehicle Enforcement, Warren County State Highway Department, Browning Volunteer Fire Department, Bowling Green Fire Department, Logan County Sheriff’s Department, Warren County Coroner, and other KSP Troopers. No further information is available for release at this time.
