Flemingsburg, Ky. (April 2, 2023) – Kentucky State Police Post 8, Morehead, received a call for assistance from Fleming County Sheriff’s Office on Sunday April 2, 2023 at around 5:30 p.m. in reference to human remains being located.

Troopers responded to 520 Fountain Ave in Fleming County.  Upon arriving at this address Troopers located human remains. The remains have been sent to Frankfort to the Medical Examiners office for identification. Foul play is not suspected. Troopers were assisted on scene by Fleming County Sheriff’s Department, Flemingsburg Police Department, and Fleming County Coroner.
