Sonora, KY (November 28, 2017) Kentucky State Police Commercial Enforcement Division conducted a traffic stop on a semi-truck today around 11:04 am on Interstate 65 near Sonora.
The driver who was identified as 49 year-old Jimmy Wyrick of Tool, TX was observed driving without his seat belt and driving from lane to lane. During the investigation the driver was found to be in Possession of Methamphetamine. He was arrested and lodged in the Hardin County jail and charged with Failure to Wear Seat Belt, Careless Driving, Texting While Driving a CMV, Operating a Motor Vehicle U
nder the Influence of Alcohol/Drugs .04, Operating a Motor Vehicle Under the Influence of Alcohol/Drugs .08, Possession of Controlled Substance 1st Degree (Methamphetamine), Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Operating a CMV while in Possession of Drugs.
